There’s a bookshop
On my high street
Full of novels
I’d like to read
Though they used to
seem attractive

Off the classics
I don’t bother Camus
Jane Austen
Oscar Wilde
Charles Dickens

And I think of the places
I could be if I weren’t stuck here with me
