Hollow

sunlight on my face fills up the hollow
seems like i’m fine
so high happy face no room for sorrow
seems like i’m fine
still i hesitate to be around beyond the length i’ve offered
i long to feel that something in me
can i
but still i feel so tired and heavy
too far to feel connected it seems
and i repeat the same old feelings
for so long now hollow still inside
