He cried for us late at night
A candle lit saw passers-by,
And from his lips it could be heard,
Allah, Allah, forgive my Ummah
Rabbi Habli Ummati
The pearls that had left his eyes,
Rolled down his face for you and I,
And from his lips it could be heard
Allah, Allah, forgive my Ummah
Witness were those by his side,
The very last breaths of his life,
From his lips it could be heard.
Allah, Allah, forgive my Ummah
Crowned the king of messengers,
For once he did not forget us,
No matter where we’ll ever be,
From our lips it shall be heard,
Peace and blessings be upon you oh Beloved of Allah
