Luscious Vampires

Luscious vampires with video teeth want me to smell their art,
Want me to fall at their feet and pledge eternal now,
Want me to write and then act my part,
Want me to ride to Hollywood on their sacred cow, And I suffer to confess that
I can’t resist,
I’ll expose the vein; circuit for the electric wine,
I’ll take the kiss from lips shaped like a fist,
I’ll take your desperation and let you make it mine.
She had hair like a question mark; eyes like a quotation,
And I wanted her so bad I memorized her lines,
But I was just a can of pepper spray in the purse of sensation,
I used to read her lips; now I paint her signs, Hideous test-tube baby
personality,
I’m trying to figure out how to match the color of my lust to her pride,
But she crashes every time I hit the F 1 key,
The truth is just a map that can lead you back to where she lied.
There’s some kind of switch in her she calls love, But it ain’t the kind that
rhymes with above,
The machine of her broadcasts the flesh of Heaven’s whore,
She pretends sold out just to keep you wanting more,
She can make your hunger more appetizing than your meal,
She’ll make you believe that only the things you’ve forgotten are real,
And you may think you can get away with a look but don’t touch,
But that’s just the perfect limp to fit her crutch.
