We died all together
On an ocean of rolling hills
Bad weather
One barely took my daughter
When I rose up I saw her feet
Pale soles and silver bells
And I see back in time
To losing my husband on a day of dust
And damage
I made him leave this place
To find us a safe home far away
With rocks of red and trees of grey
I know family ties
They just won’t save us
Not this time
