Solitude

I’m among the lions
bloodthirsty beasts
ravens circle
above my head
Ghastly sky’s over me
rivers flow with blood
I scream for deliverance
I will pray
to get through
eerie days
(and)
I will pray
before it’s not
too late
And I will fight
with no fear
with heart full of hope
though abandoned one
And I will stay
even if
I’ll always be alone
weak and mortal soul…
