The Wings

Though here
All the monsters they are around
And this room only has one escape
Stuff lies on my table catching dust
And a smile like a mask is on your face
There’s a shimmering ray on the floor
Up here on this, up here on this 13th floor
It takes one step
Out of the window
Shut those wings of glass behind me
And I’m growing a notched beak
And I’m catching my prey
By diving on it from above
When a small seed is being planted on a balcony
The first thing it sees is the very end of the town
Someone will always water it, someone will always take care

All that space
And all matters that we know
They all have a name to it
An item how they are called
It takes one step
Out of the window
Didn’t trust in a thing I had to put my feet on
And as I speak something bigger is fading
