Love on The Moon

Love on the moon isn’t really love at all
You’re a million miles high on a white and yellow ball
Orbiting the earth, which is orbiting the sun
Asteroids are common
And breathing’s much more fun
When you’ve got oxygen and gravity
You can’t kiss your baby when she’s face-down in the sea of tranquility
Floating through the night
There’s not much in outer-space
Except some satellites in orbit
Round the Earth is where I’d like to stay
The moon comes out at night
And in the morning it goes away
Summer sometimes, way too hot
But it may be for the best
