You brought me back to be a child
To kneel before Your throne
When wisdom I’d confused with pride
And hardened like a stone
My life in Jesus has a key
That only childlike eyes can see
Many are the learned ones
Who lead their flocks of sheep
But cannot fall before His face
To tremble or to weep
For life in Jesus has a key

And many are called
Few are chosen
Many cry LORD
But few obey
And heaven’s wholest light is shone
In those who seek His heart
In trust that leans not on the mind
His chosen stand apart
