The Bell

On my twenty-sixth day of being alone
I hung out of the window by the telephone
I heard the trees calling out your name
And I wandered in the forest of becoming insane
Between what is right and what is
Don’t I know
Does the bell ring for one of them?
Can I smash the phone and go back to sleep?

Between what is short and what is long
