They tried to train us but they ultimately drained us
Now they’re trying to blame us for not trying
But we did what we were told since we were a few days old
And now we’ve got nothing to show for our obedience
They tried to derail us while claiming to educate us
Now they’re trying to save us by changing their rules
But we did what we were told to survive and get old
And now we’ve got nothing to show for our obedience
But if we borrowed some of their money, they said we could work and give it back
But now they can’t afford to pay us and we can’t afford the shirts on our back
While they drink champagne and laugh
They tried to ignore us but they ultimately implore us
When they try to floor us, we’re not running
