Old Aunt Sally said her head is spinning
She’s struggling to see a thing
Said it’s something she ate
But reckon it’s the pills and all the drink
Aunt Sally is feeling blue
Aunt Sally is feeling grey
Been years since she’s been feeling in the pink
Old Aunt Sally is singing now
As the medication takes it toll
And in the busiest street of her hometown
She’s searching for some rock 'n' roll
Powdered her nose in the cubicles
And is ready to explode
Been years since anybody’s cared to know
They sold her down the river on a raft of broken dreams
Filled her up with potions, lies and pills and schemes
Told her she was better but that ain’t what it seems
As Aunt Sally screams
Raining it’s pouring, Sally’s snoring
Made base in the closed down school
Well she got kicked out of her home, her house
Now sleeps in my old English room
Well times are hard but she ain’t no quitter
