Sometimes werewolves take me away
To the dark forest where the bears eat bad children
My mother yells as I freeze
Father kills bear, wolves let me be
We ran up to the attic, played with all the matches,
Burning my pet ants while listening to static
Broke the ceiling fan while jumping on the mattress
I look at you and pretend like nothing ever happened
Drank a cherry coke while playing with their ashes
Fight off the vampires, hide under the mattress
You kissed me in the dark to break the awkward silence
