When flesh loses it’s appeal
You realize it wasn’t real
Did you take the time to look in his eyes?
Did you take the time to analyze?
When it falls apart around you
Are the pretty ones there to guide you?
If you look skin deep you’ll never see
The inside is ugly
Broken, shattered, shallow shell
Is it nice and cozy in your cell?
Are you proud of the fact that you cry at night?
Have the beatings filled that hole inside?
The sad thing is you don’t even know yourself
You wonder why you hurt but all the good things you repel
