Every day the sun comes up

We only walk while birds can fly
Every day everything changes
Every breeze rearranges every leaf
on every tree
Nothing stays the same
It’s all in motion
It doesn’t ask why

Every day when darkness falls
Sometimes at eight

The stars come out and do their magic
They make us think about
how small we are
How small we are next to the sky
All alive together on the earth at the same time
