There are some times I think that things could not get worse
There are some times I swear I think that I’ve been cursed
I get back up on my feet again
And then I get knocked down just to start again
Maybe it’s just me
But bad luck always comes in threes
One? when you’re hurting
Two? when you’re lonely
Three? when you think your heart couldn’t take no more
It never rains

Sometimes I count to ten so I don’t lose my temper
I hold my head high? stand proud
And think to myself? ?whatever?
I tell myself things’ll work out fine
But in my heart I know it’s a waste of time
