Left myself in the moment
Felt my head to and fro-ing
Another chapter in my life opened
Another someone is growing
I heard you’re breaking me
I know you’re taking me
So hard to believe they’ll get you to leave
I feel something take over me
Beneath my skin, hysterical screams
Doing its evil right through me
I scratch and I spit but it’s no dream
I look in the mirror to find…
Nothing but pitch-black eyes
Scratches on my skin are superficial to what dwells within
