Have pity on the working man
He’s worked his whole life through
Just a piche on the exit door
While company’s prophecy groups
Well they send all of our jobs down south
And they send ‘em overseas
Well if would’ve been in a working town
Brought a country to its knees
And they tell me to hold my brother down
But I will not even try
Well I ain’t gonna be a capitalist cuz capitalism must die
Rich man steals our money
It grows richer every day
But all the work couldn’t wanna get food stamps
The electric bill she can’t pay
And a man is not a holy man without his brother welfare in mind
And let he who will not feed the poor please leave this world behind
Stand up tall beside me
Let your voice be loud and strong
And together we’ll smash capitalism
We’ll all rejoice in song
Ignorance and greed will send us straight below
He will stand in all our things
A seed in every soul
He will stop the healin'
Bring back free all the troops
That we all worked so hard to have
Recallin' will rejoice
And they have the nerve to ask us
Bail us out of this mess
When a family can’t afford to eat
We’re working all for less
And the couple in this week
And they’re sucking at the chair
And they hand over the bail out while
We all pay full in
