Lord knows, I’m trying to be a better me
Perfect I can never be
But He set me free, yes indeed
I’m living by the spirit cus my flesh is weak!
I know the enemy is waiting for the end of me
And everything he says to me, is only to bring death to me
Aiming, letting double shots off, Yosemite
Patiently waiting for when he gets to see me rest in Peace
Best believe I understood one day I’ll be a memory

Probably should’ve died, but he showed my new life and so being alive,

He’s my remedy, my heavenly extra-terrestrial celestial ecstasy
Want to live forever, 6 feet under’s already hella deep

Now I do not believe in symbols and signs; ain’t God to me, ain’t stopping me
I gotta speak the truth, to help those in spiritual poverty
I’m speaking of myself as well, cus I really need it honestly
So if this is route you choose, then I’ll walk with you, hope you walk with me
I’ve made so many mistakes and I still do, man I’ll never be perfect
Sometimes I feel like bailing, like this righteous walk ain’t working
But there’s people who never met God outside of our churches
Selfish being self-centered; New day, new bodies lie in hearses
So I go in for this purpose, the serpent is steady lurking
Always reminded me of my mistakes, telling me that I’m worthless
But Jesus died to save me, according to him I’m worth it
