Was there ever a point?
Did you waste just to resist?
I can relate
For I have poised
More suffering than I’ve helped
I Don’t know why I keep on
But something in me says you’ll get it right
If you try
So I keep myself whipped and on my knees
If I survive
I am special in my own mind
I adore all the signs, all the things that I forgot to explain
Forgot in their heads and I can’t let waste away
As I recall what is really goin on
Is it fair
Are you guided back you won’t be sorry
When you find that I am wasted on my knees
I devise a defier in me and I feel so alone
Open heart
And I keep myself whipped and on my knees
Open heart to a higher power
I know I’m not alone I will find
