Determining how long we’ll stay for reasons such as this
I remember things you said
got them spinning around in my head
I try to find a peaceful place that I can act graceful
and not feel so out of place
Home it calls me back, every time
People my community help me to shine
I gain resistance to bad memories
mistakes not forgotten
just tucked away
