The other day when we rode our bikes to the beach
To have a midnight swim
I asked you if there are snakes in the sea
You looked at me with loving grin
Without judging me you left me ask my silly questions
Maybe I’ll teach you a chord or two
And we can call it even
Lately I’ve been worried 'cause we’d had loads of disagreements
You’ve been a handful of work but I guess
I haven’t exactly been Miss Decent
But somehow I’m confident that we can work this out
My mama says «no work, no gain"so I’m definitely gonna find out
