The Chris Carlino Story: Week Two (Interlude)

Week two
It’s been about, uh, fourteen days, I think
This has easily been the worst week ever
She writes me a letter, she tells me she can’t be apart from me
But, uh, she knows I need to be here
I haven’t seen my kid in fourteen days
And it, you know, on top of that, it puts you in this place
They take away everything that you have
And then expect you to function as if you’re normal
Huh, you serious?
They’ve taken everything away
I’ve taken everything away
I’m here because…
