Play Pretend

If I could separate my mind
I’d split it up in two pieces
So you’d be mine, too
Maybe, somewhere down the road
I will find the answers
Cause right now, I don’t know
But will you spend the night with me?
Spend some of your time with me?
We could write a story for the two of us to read
Oh it would please my silly fickle heart
To see all of your story parts
And maybe do some pillow talking too
But it’s all that I could do
Counting shivers down my bones
Funny how they grow so quickly
But I though you should know
That someone precious holds my heart
I feel at home in his loving arms
And it may be a little soon, but when I move inhim
He moves me too
But will you spend the night with me?

Honestly, that is all I came here for
'cause hurting him would hurt me more
And that’s a feeling I would never lose
So it’s all that I could do
