How I wonder where you go
Where faces fly from your tired eye
Or your tears when you run and hide
Where your smile fades
Or your love after it runs away before it’s found
Like all those souls in the ground
Now forever lost but bound to fly away
How I wonder what you see
When you suffer without company

What new specters roam
And fill the places I would hold in aching dreams
