Bet She Does

Thought I’d treat myself this evening
Go and hang out with the pigeons
Drink some red wine share my good cheese
Watch the pretty people passing by
An hour later I’m out of wine
So I play my broken guitar
Watch the people gather round me
Naturally I close my eyes and sing
They invite me back to their place
Where I see a familiar face
She’s holding me with that stare
And I can’t help but pretend she’s not there
She walks over just to tell me
That she don’t miss me all that much
She walked over just to say that:
I don’t miss you all that much
I bet she does
