A ray of light appears
And tells me someone’s there
A ray of hope
As if God’s lighting the lamp for me
A friendly hand takes mine
And leads me to the light
A blazing light
Beseeching me to see
A new dawn is beginning
A dawn of revelation
Dawn of illumination
To warm the heart and soul
