The guy who lives upstairs
Is an actor so they say, or maybe worse
They say he changed his name
cause someone with the same name made it first
His girlfriend come to stay
We hear her screams and think that they rehearse
So maybe its a play
Or maybe someones really getting hurt
Look round every home town
Every nice house — every fair deal
Every good job — every square meal
In every dream home
A nightmare
The girl who lives next door
Is a model so they say though Im not sure
She never seems to work
Though clothes she wears suggest that shes not poor
She seems to be well known
With man friends always coming to her door
But they dont look her type
And she dont look the type to be a whore
