How could it be I’m so young yet so much older than I should be?

What would I say if I was asked to name the wonders of the sad though
I wonder why my dad’s so mad?
How could it be that at twelve years old I’d think about the meaning,

Where should I pray,
If the church is just a fashion show on Sundays?

Why does dad have a hard time with his dreams?
I hope I’m not the reason he’s so mean.
