This is the season of the skirt and the wedding ring
Fashion model on the runway with the next new thing
People stop and they stare
It’s not just her hair
She’s got on a skirt that no one else could wear
They call that style
I take a walk by the river with the sunset fire
Brooklyn Bridge, a tapestry aloft on wire
You could say it’s just a way
To get from here across and bay
But the walkin' it shure feels so fine and gay
