Part II: When the Camera's Off

I’m standing here
for the first time in a year,
this room makes me smile-
but with butterflies,
this room makes me feel that my words
raised many brows an many curbs-
to this i confess, i obsess
cos you make me feel
And i just wanna know
was she here?
and could i catch that very tear
that falls for me?
what I’m about to say to you
could be the last thing that i do.
and that’s all i need
I’m flying out
with my heart still in my mouth
and i can’t think straight, i feel fake.
tonight will my life change?
cos that story still haunts me
and this chance is beyond what i
deserve and it fills me as i wait,
is she moments away?
But at the moment that i stop
and stare into your brothers eye’s- although i’d met this guy — i somehow know
who he is. just like i knew that
you were gone
he breaks the silence with
«theres someone you should probably meet inside»
he says
«she has her fathers eye’s»
i didn’t know
and standing there
for the first time in a year,
