Seems out of society, 80% of us are just thick-as-shit
And I don’t mean in terms of academics or arithmetics
I’m talking about the venomous illness spreading like syphilis
Which causes mass blindness and ignorance to the system-which
You’re living-in
The main engine which has driven-'em
To be what they wanna be, Do what they wanna do, Governing decisions-in
Every move you made, while you stayed in oblivion
Living unaware to the subliminal imprisoning
It’s like you’re walking with invisible-chains
With only what you’re told to see within a visible-range
They think they’re living in original-ways
When their life was programmed at every individual-stage
As well as thinking they have freedom-of-speech
When someone sits above them with the script, feeding-them-sheets !
And even if the line of reading-is-breached
Any one of them speaks, and their messages are speedily-ceased
Shh, but don’t be thinking beyond the monotony
That’s coming out your box sets, you’re having a lobotomy
It’s what’s required for this system to run properly
Keep them all asleep in a mockery of democracy
Just like puppets-on-a-string
Orchestrating every move and what-they're-gonna-sing
Force feeding your minds and stuffing-to-the-brim
Looking around this town I just think, man…
Just like mice-in-a-maze
Following the smell of cheese, to get by-for-the-days
Thinking they’re free living life-in-a-cage
Trained to serve a role, which each mouse rightfully-plays
So where you raised, at the bottom or top of the food-chain?
You might not see it but you’re living in a huge-game
Designed so the majority work while only few-gain
The rules already fixed to fit their true-aims
It’s like we’re infected with an allergy-to-intellect
Years of media run fallacies-begin-to-set
Inside our minds, while your salary-will-intercept
Any logic you had, trying to manage on the brink-of-debt
Then take a look at most the youth-today
Too preoccupied with new films, computer-games
Drink, clubs, clothes, an acute-array
Of distractions specifically made for keeping you-at-bay
It’s like someone sits above them puppeteering
From the way they walk, to their clothes, to their fucking-earrings
Filled with the mainstream shit we have to suffer-hearing
Each one a carbon copy of every other sucker-near-them
But maybe you are actually-dumb
Naturally-plums
Who don’t care how the factory’s-run
But even if this system is a satisfactory-one
The dumbing down of the world has begun…
