The Stovecook and the Waitress

Said the stovecook to the waitress
And she sat and brushed her hair
She said
«Stovecook you couldn’t even kill a cockroach without crying

«I'm sorry sir, you’ve got to go»
Said the waitress to a man
Who was dancing around the restaurant

And in the hour before morning
When gentle comes the light

And waited for the sunrise
