It’s crazy thinking back in the days when I was growing up
A shy Hispanic who faced violence but never spok up
Uncomfortable to speak my mind around anybody
And turned it into on of those big skills to fulfill a hobby
Got me through the long dark nights as a teen
But overall I thank the friends and the fam who got me through weeks
Kept me strong willed like a fresh prince working out
Though I’m the one telling the story this time around
I’m only human full of emotion
The only thing that keeps me rollin' is your notion
Accepting the tape that you be holdin'
So behold transition, from a kid to adulthood
Should’ve been more open to them older advice instead of close 'em That’s just
one of the many lessons I need to learn
Half of it is talent while the other half you need to earn
Looking back at this I know that I won’t miss it (uh)
Now that it’s over though, I’m glad it happened

But I wonder what the future has in store for a brotha
But it still feels I have my whole life to keep living through

That’s right, him up above
I try to spread my passion and love
I wanna be remembered from the nice vibes and the smiles
Laughter even when this life gets you tired
But I appreciate the years once again that I went through
All starting back as a kid
But now I’m grown up and still trying to learn how to live
All the help throughout this crazy journey
Some choices made me fall but I got up and wiped the dust off me
And I’m sorry if I don’t talk to y’all after all this
This ain’t a river for help, it’s a stream of my conscience
So this is 2 years of all my thoughts in a ball
And all the people who be feeling me, stay safe y’all
