You only see, through imperfect eyes,
What we all want to see
Without regard, we all lose our way,
Enroute to what will be… yeah!
I try to see, with a wide open mind, imagination, so strong
Lost in a world, of false perfection, where I’m always right,
And you’re always wrong… yeah, yeah…
So if you make believe, if you close your eyes, if you fight your dreams
If you close your mind…
You can embrace, the boredom you create…
Images quite horrible, reality… (so / quite) real,
Lies or truth… (society / insanity) you cannot (appeal / conceal)
Life you ignore, fear motivates you, the sheep are so unaware
Just like the flock, you’ve no control, once your soul is bare… ha ha…
Just another headline, yesterday’s news, out of sight, out of mind
Your wake up call, has long been ignored
Now you’re just a statistic, waiting in line
When I close my eyes, when I make believe,
When I use my mind, when I chase my dreams
Pieces of my world, there for all to see… but you bring me…
Images horrible, democracy unreal,
Lies hide truth, disparity, satellites reveal
Images quite horrible, raped of all I feel, distortions of reality,
So what! … Big deal !!!
