I once knew a parrot who lived out of town
Who made a living learning about bird watching
He wore a hat suited for a blue parakeet
With a nest upon his head as he walked down the street
Polishing his marbles and petting his sheep, he said…
So with God on his shoulders and a branch for a pipe
And a yellow cockatail that was mostly white
There were rainbows tangled all up in his hair
