Solitude

Upon bleeding winds
Eternal darkness comes
Within dying shadows
Death’s ghostly phantoms
I lie upon the earth
Lost beneath this veil
Swallowed by darkness
Death breath exhaled
As darkened memories fade
I hear the winds call my name
A life lived in solitude
This death comes to reclaim
As scarlet tears fall
Upon sands of nevermore
Silent screams from within
Death’s wings I implore
In eternal solitude
The dawning nears
In a peaceful slumber
I shed death’s tears
