Walk With God

I used to run around
Thinking I was something
I was nothing but a self-made man
Until I got down on my knees
I knew I was a sinner
And that’s when my journey began
How do you walk with someone
You can’t see?
And how do you know
Where you should go?
What do you say
When you don’t know how to pray?
These are the things I had to know
Then by God’s grace
I started to see
When the spirit came
And captured me
I’ve got a new way to walk
I’m not my own
I’m walking with God
Until I’m all the way home
I’m ready to move
I’ll go where He leads
With God at my side
I have all that I need
I’m gonna walk, walk, walk

When we put our faith in God
He sends us a helper
The spirit makes us new
He helps us understand
He gives us direction
He even helps us pray to God, too
The spirit came to give us life
We walk by faith and not by sight
I’ve got a new way to walk
I’m not my own
I’m walking with God
Until I’m all the way home
I’m ready to move
I’ll go where He leads
With God at my side
I have all that I need

I may trip and fall
But with Him there to pick me up
