Once I was young, then I grew up
From the greylight to the bluelight to the daylight, have I grown up at all?
I love my mother, my friends and brothers, I even loved myfFather
…And that says a lot…
But when the silence comes… the silence comes… the silence comes
…sometimes stays too long
It slits the throat, it cuts the throat of where I belong
And the night goes so slow, it always does when you’re feelin' low
And all the words unspoken, like the hearts left broken
Am I to blame?
