Aldedly Blues

Shut us all down at nine o’clock,
Well, it seems kind of early,
But what can you do with it?
The cops are sitting in their cars all night,
So uptight. You know I’m all through with it.
You heard what I said.
This town is so dead.
These Aldedly blues are just eating away
At my head.
That’s what they taught us in school.
The time that we blew being cool.
And now, I just feel like a fool.
The kids are kicking to the radio, well,
They can’t tell the songs from their ass,
But who can these days?
Acting stupid in their tricked-out Jeeps
While gas is cheap, and you know they don’t care who pays.
