You spoke of vacancy and felt your body running dry
I’ve been noticing certain patterns will collide, a trick of light
Cause nothing ever manifests a lie
But you’re scolded if you ever tow the line
See the flashes in your eyes
I want to believe
Could you take me there sometime?

The evidence is all around us
