Where It All Went Wrong

What if this isn’t me,
This has consumed everything.
And I swear I’m leading myself away,
away into a place I don’t miss.
You and I, we know this place, its not real.
Where we can believe in whatever we need.
I can never feel this way again.
It’s just a land of thoughts.
I will take everything I need.
This was dropped on me so suddenly
And I’m trying to think of where it all went wrong
Was it me, or Was I just not worth it?
Because these thoughts still are haunting me
I have no control of my own mind.
With a soul of its own.
We have dipped to a new high.
Threw our thoughts to the other side.
Was it all worth it?
To treat me this way.
You scared me for life.
I just cant forget all the pain and hurt you put me through
You are just a part of me,
And I just can’t seem to forget this shit.
This gate has opened,
the city has became a ruin.
Lost in the trails in time.
This beast we have created is only the mirror.
I wish we would wake up from this dream
We have lied ourselves into debt.
