Lakes Of Steep

I’ve been longing for some years
It’s the journey that awakes my fear
If I don’t try it I won’t get it done
I’ve been moving with the pace of snails
Standing still like the bricks I’m in
And now I’m down here in a lake so steep
I’ve been hanging with the ones I need
To help me learn how to do indeed
I’m just waiting for the sounds to come
I’m work around all the crucial things
Like being honest with myself it rings
A little warning in my head it seems
So what is emotion
A pain in the heart when you breathe?
I’ve got no devotion
I’m trying but I can’t believe
I’ve been walking to the end of rain
Pushing forward in the speeding lane
But I am back to where I started now
The silence taunts me with the darkest noise within
The lights keeps shining with the darkest ring
And I am stuck in the midst of the void
