Headaches

I never know if it’s day or night
I blocked out my window, no natural light
But I don’t really care about it anyway
I never really get to see the sun
Either I’m in my room or I’m working
But I don’t really care about that sort of thing
You and headaches keep my up all night
Drive By Truckers, and Virgin Suicides
Thinking of when things were ok
Sometimes I don’t think I need anything more
Than a color TV and a mattress on the floor
Sometimes I wanna throw everything else away
Sometimes I wonder if the sun is outside
And sometimes I wonder if I’m even alive
And if it really even matters anyway
