This Tribe an Ocean

Hold your breath, this time we’re going under
I made motions in the sea that contradict the path I’m swimming.
Broke the flow, create another pattern.
And on and on it goes the river
Bends and another corner.
Sometimes I find myself being pulled into the water,
for every hand that comes to save me ten more would hold me under.
And so you said you’d seek to calm your appetites
and fall into an ocean that’s a void of null excuses.
You may know me well but you don’t know me that
well I can do this by myself I’m alive and well
