There’s a man on a mountain
In a bunker of gold
Where he’s safe from the shrapnel
& the street fights & brawls
Where he’s secure to spout hatred
Without being involved
& he claims that his motives
Are freedom & god
& he stands at the podium
Somewhere far televised
With his mouth spitting venom
& his poisonous lies
Giving power to the idea
The if our nation is free
I should bludgeon my neighbors
If they look different than me

Like wasps beating their wings

& ideology
