I’m addressing you, when I’m talking to myself

They say impending lunacy, is marked by inability to speak clearly
Well since this is the case with me
I guess all the world will say I’m crazy

I compose the perfect letter, that says exactly what I want to say, ooh

Sitting on top of an iceberg, and the water’s getting hot
Chancers are I will submerge, but worry I do not:
Comfortable problem, occupy my thoughts
Like: how in the world am I gonna go & win back your heart?

I whisper talk and mumble
I’m staring in the little scenes I play
Is there no more to me than make-believe soliloqui?

To keep reality under control
