City Joe

Bus driver Joe all ready for the working day
Sun come out punch the clock and he’s on his way
People everywhere getting up for the daily routine
Make it to the stop in time for the 7:15
He wonders why everybody’s in a hurry to stay alive
If you don’t work hard you must be broke
But that kind of living don’t apply to Joe
Make a first stop at the corner of 3rd and main
Break for lunch turn around and do it again
Never had a hard time dealing with a bad complaint
Knows everybody that he carries by the first name
