Way too tired to sleep last night
Nobody came, to turn out the lights
But when you say —
Hey, How are you?
I say —
I’m alright
I saved my head to be someone else
Felt like I put a hat on, so no one could tell
But when you say —
Hey, How are you?
I’m doing well
And I don’t talk much
But if I do, you would hear me
And I get awful lonely talking to myself
And if you’re looking
I’ll be hiding in the basement
And I don’t want to lie again
So, please don’t ask me how I am
Please stop talking everyday
Now I have, so much left to say
Hey, How ar you?
I’m ok
It’s doesn’t help to keep asking —
why?
A wasted soul, put through tim
