I’m scared of these thoughts that are creepin' on me
In the back of my mind where no one can see
Is this a dream?
When will I wake?
I turn to the crow of an old rooster cry
Watch for the truth when you open your eyes
There’s no disguise
I tell no lies
Well, let not your heart be afraid of the unknown
Embrace this occasion of madness with sorrow
Switch off the lights and dance in the darkness
Erase these intrusions of thought, not as weakness

Try as I may, I just can’t get back in
The door shut behind me and left me to sing
Where are the boundaries?
Will they protect me?
A bird in the breeze gifts me wings to take flight
And I fly up above like a plane in the night
I won’t deny
I touch the sky
